What to be prepared for when taking your puppy home

We schedule each family in order of who reserved 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc.  We cannot tell you until puppies have arrived how many males/females you will have to pick from. Once puppies have arrived we contact each family and can let you know then. We arrange pick up dates based on the weening process. Typically puppies go home between 7-9 weeks and after the vet has cleared them to go home to their new families.

  • Food/Water Bowls

  • Collar/Leash

  • Chew Toys

  • Puppy Food (Iam's Large Breed Puppy is what they will be eating at our ranch) ***First ingredient should be a meat***

  • Dog crate (if crate training)

  • Select a Vet (make appt within 5 days after taking puppy home per health guarantee)

  • ​Plain yogurt/or probiotic

  • Please bring a blanket or towel when picking up your puppy. We will rub on mom to pick up scent to take home with you.

  • ​If traveling distance, please bring your collar/leash in the event you need to stop for potty breaks. Also bring a bowl and water.


​​What to expect when picking up your puppy

​​ When you come to pick up your furever friend, you will also meet the Parents of your Puppy. Good chances Ron will also have some of his other goldens out to greet you!


We do take extra precautions with our puppies. For the safety of the puppies, nobody is allowed to handle or touch puppies. If you have a choice, we will bring the puppies out for you to see, watch them play etc., you cannot touch the puppy until you have selected your puppy. 


Your puppy will have completed 1 parvovirus vaccine and 1 puppy series vaccines. You will need to complete the series of vaccines with your vet. We STRONGLY advise you to be very cautious and don't advise you to take  your puppy to any dog beaches, dog parks, or common areas until you have completed puppy series of vaccines. (approximately 16 weeks). 


Ron will spend time going over all paperwork with you, and answer any questions that you have. 


It is important to come at your scheduled time. We only schedule 1 family per hour. You will be asked to park your car at the locked gate, and contact us upon arrival. We will meet you at the gate.
